In which port would a helicopter ride be more impressive - Juneau or Skagway? I%26#39;m a keen photographer and would like to know where I would get more spectacular photos of glaciers, scenery etc. Could anyone help me make the decision and give me their opinions?

We were in Alaska this summer and were scheduled to take the helicopter trip to the Mendenhall Galcier and the weather was bad (as it is most of the time) and the flight was cancelled. We were lucky to have taken the helicopter trip in Skagway the day before and had a wonderful trip and walked on a glacier too. We were very glad we had taken the one in Skagway so we got to see glaciers since the one I think would have been more spectacular is not as sure a bet due to the frequent bad weather in Juneau. If you can take the ground trip to the Mendenhall in Juneau. You%26#39;ll get to see the glacier up close and personal. Hope this helps.
