Pro & Cons of Booking Air Through Cruiseline

I%26#39;m about to book a cruisetour through HAL for July 30- Aug 11. I was given a quote of $759 + $47 Air Tax through the the Cruise Company flying from JFK to ANC and from Vancouver back to NYC. Am I better off booking air separately?

Thanks

Marty

Pro %26amp; Cons of Booking Air Through Cruiseline

Hi Marty! Well, I am one of those comparison shoppers . . . so yes, I would check some other websites and see what they are offering. It couldn%26#39;t hurt - sometimes you can save significantly booking your own flights ( or cars or whatever) Though you never know, as sometimes you do get the deals going with a package set up. It seems everyone has access to different things . . . and it seems to change by the minute. Good luck and post back so we learn from what you found. :)

Did AK cruise this past June on Norwegian.

We took flight and transfers out of package then booked thru travel agent seperately and added transfers back in. We ended up with better flight times at better price. Saved about $400 for two. Flew from NH to Newark then non stop to Seattle. Coming back fle Seattle to Charlotte to NH.

It was worth the $400 savings!
