We will be in Juneau from 2.30-10.30 and would like to do the Admiralty Island Bear tour. Does this operate in the afternoon/early evening or just in the morning? Which companies offer this tour? Can it be done from any other port?
Admiralty Island 3 hour bear tour
We have flown on float planes to Admiralty many times to stay at remote forest service cabins....they are really a fun way to go as you fly low enough to see the terrain.....have not been on any of the bear viewing tours.....it does seem that most of the tours leave in the morning.....but this one says the times of the tour can be arranged at the time of the reservation....

A sightseeing flight with a small hike to view the bears......sounds like a great side trip !!
