Day 3: Drive to Denali early morning. Stop for views in Talkeetna.
Go for the bus ride. Stay in Denali
Day 4: Denali (dont know what to do. may be some hiking or tours based on what I see in the bus ride. any suggestions?). Drive back late night to Wasila for the hotel
Day 5: Go to Seward. Stop in Portage Glacier, Potter Marsh, Exit Glacier at Seward and a 6hr or longer kenai fjords boat tour
Stay in a seward hotel
Day 6: Relax in seward and take a flight out in the evening from acnhorage
How does this look?
Thanks again for the help. I am going to exactly follow this unless I missed something or am too ambitious
my itin for commentsYour itinerary is much like the one I just completed last month. In Denali you might want to do a white water raft trip through Denali Outdoor Center - lots of fun. We stayed in Girdwood rather than in Seward. We did the Renown Tours Kenai Glacier tour - spectacular! We saw lots of whales and the glaciers were amazing. We didn%26#39;t stay in Seward - there isn%26#39;t much there besides the cruises. There are some trails you can hike, you can hike to Exit Glacier. There are several trails in the Girdwood area, and the Crow Creek Gold Mine where you can pan for gold, and the tram ride to the top of Mt. Aleyska provides gorgeous views. You can do a tandem paraglide trip from the top of the mountain if you are adventurous. We did stop at the Musk Ox farm and it was fun and informative. In Denali we stayed in cabins near the entrance to the park - Carlo Creek Cabins - reasonable and clean and comfortable. Have fun on your trip!
