Labor Day Alaska - what's open or closed?

Can anyone tell me if the tours etc are open on Labor day or what tends to be closed. On my current itinery we plan to take a shuttle tour in Denali next year on Labor day but we can change it if necessary.

The shuttle tour in Denali is open through mid September. Other activities in Denali begin shutting down starting September firsts so check ahead with tour operators before you go.

Yes, banks, post offices, etc., are about the only ones that observe the summer holidays - almost all tour companies operate thru Labor Day. Some years, it varies on the weather . . . .rafting is pretty iffy after the first of Sept. I was just in the Park/Glitter gulch yesterday, and many businesses are closing down on Sept. 12th this year, though a few are remaining open for the road lottery, and will be open until the 20th. You should be fine for next year and hopefully the colors will be lovely - been gorgeous here this weekend. :)
