Things to do in Anchorage in Nov/Dec

I am travelling to Alaska for work at the end of November to first week in December. Any suggestions for things to do and places to go? A lot of the city tours I see online don%26#39;t operate beyond mid September and my boyfriend would like to come along if there are enough things to keep busy with. I appreciate any comments.

What does your boyfriend like to do? Is he a skier (downhill or x-country) or hiker? Does he prefer less active stuff? Give us a bit of information about what he likes to do and what you like to do if you will have any time yourself and we will be glad to give you some ideas!

Thanks kileysmom for offering to give us some tips. Well, neither of us is terribly active/outdoorsy but we both like sightseeing. We will gladly take lengthy bus tours, go to museums, watch films on the local area and its heritage etc. We also like to get a non-touristy perspective of places that we visit.
