What are some of the larger chains that have stores in Fairbanks? Our grandson was recently sent to Ft. Wainwright and we%26#39;d like to send him some gift cards for Christmas. Is there a CompUSA, Best Buy, Walmart, anything like that?

Hi there! We don%26#39;t have everything, but we are getting more every year. We have Walmart, Barnes %26amp; Noble, Old Navy, Sportman%26#39;s Warehouse, Chili%26#39;s, Boston%26#39;s, Coldstone, Sam Goody, Sears, etc. along with the typical fast food places as well. Does this help? :)

I remember there was definitely a Fred Meyers and also an OfficeMax.

Online store locators show no stores in Fairbanks for Office Depot, BestBuy, or CompUSA.

Store locator also showed no Circuit City in Fairbanks.

Awww poor guy. Does he have anywhere to go for Christmas dinner? Ft. WW and Fairbanks as communities are pretty close as far as supporting each other goes. Also, Ft. WW has really good family supports and activities, even for young single men. Tell him to look into them if he hasn%26#39;t already. You already got good advice about the stores.
