Ferry to Whittier/Stan Stephens Double Up??

Hi there - I would value some input into my trip planning. My husband and I will be in Valdez in August and are going by Ferry from Valdez to Whittier. We were also going to book the 6hour boat trip with Stan Stephens but are wondering if this would be a bit of a ';double up';. Will we just be seeing the same things?? We are aware that the 9 hr trip would offer more but feel that we may be a little ';water-logged'; by this part of our trip.

Ferry to Whittier/Stan Stephens Double Up??

There%26#39;s really no comparison in the 2 trips other than the fact that they%26#39;re both on the water. The ferry offers stunning but distant scenery, Stan Stephens gets you up close and personal.

p.s. - I was in Whakatane this time last year (I even know how to pronounce it now!) and am dying to get back! ( explorenorthtours.com/nz/…white_isl-1576.html )
