I will be in Ketchikan the first week of sept 2009 on a Princess Cruise, thinking about taking Alaska Bear Adventure Tour. I have two options, 7am or 1130am, is either time better for viewing bears at Traitor%26#39;s Cove. Do the bears like to sleep in, I know I do!!

Sleep in! There should be plenty of bears on the later one.

I don%26#39;t think there is a prettier time of day than early morning in Alaska. I would take the earlier flight myself and enjoy the quiet before the real crowds hit town. Wildlife, in general, are best seen early and late in the day, too, in my experience.
