The passes from the Natl Park Service

America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreation Passes (the new Golden Passport)

Are these passes valid for Denali entrance?

Denali shittle?

Anything else?

Thanks we%26#39;re heading there in early June and could use all the monetary breaks available..

Usually any National park pass is only good on a reduction in your entrance fee and sometimes camping fee, not on the shuttle bus fees.

Here is the link for those details:

You can always call Denali Park directly - 907-683-2294. :)

I will es pound a little on Coalminer%26#39;s answer since I have used the pass at Denali.

Yes it is valid and this is what it covers:

This pass is available to the general public and provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee for a year, beginning from the date of sale. The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. (children under 16 are admitted free)

No, it does not cover the shuttle or anything else.

Just so you know, when you make reservations for the shuttle or campground, they will charge you the entrance fees upfront. When you arive take your confirmation letter and pass to either Riley Creek Merchantile or the Wilderness Access Center and they will refund it to you. Too many people were not paying the entrance fee so now it is charged up front.

Thank you for your help.
