We will be on North bound cruise; will be stopping at Ketchikan, Skagway, Sitka, and Juneau. After arriving to Anchorage, we will be at Denali for 2 nights and will be renting a car. We are interested in wildlife, short hiking, taking a flight. Not interested in zipline (my wife is afraid of height) or fishing. Then, we realize that there are overlapping opportunities and we%26#39;d like to have expert opinions to choose the best :D
1) for flight (float plane in Ketchikan vs. artic circle from Fairbank vs. helicopter to Glaciers in Juneau)
2) Totem pole (at Ketchikan or at van couver)
3) kayaking, or snorkling (Sitka vs. ketchikan vs. Juneau or somewhere else)
4) Is Mendenhall Glacier a must go place? I%26#39;ve been on Glacier in Banff, but I guess Glacier M is much bigger.
5) Whitewater rafting? In Denali?
- Skagway Yukon railride will be a must for us. I believe our curise will show part of prince william sound and we could see sleddog in Denali for free.
Thanks in advance.
