Hello,
I have done the drive to Alaska and back from Ventura, CA several times. It is a wonderful drive, especially through Canada. Problem is, to go round trip is tedious. Best thing is to drive only one-way. I am driving up to Alaska, leaving from Ventura, CA July 16th, 2009. I would like to fly back from Anchorage around August 4th. You can fly up, take my car (Honda Civic Hybrid) around Alaska a bit and drive it back. You pay me a small wear and tear amount. An alternative would be if you want me to drive your vehicle up so you can pick it up in Anchorage and I pay you some money for the use. Either way, if this sounds interesting to you, email me at generubinaudio@earthlink.net
Thanks, Gene Rubin
Looking to drive just one way to/from Alaska %26amp; S. Calif?
You should check with Canada Customs about driving a car belonging to another person across the border. They may not allow that without some kind of written authorization from the owner.

Thank you for your suggestion but I have driven other peoples vehicles through Canada several times. It is no problem at all.
