Schulz Tours

Please be aware we%26#39;ve just lost our deposit and just by pure luck did not loose the full cost of our holiday. We booked a vacation in Canada with www.canadamotorhomes.com to include 4 nights hotel stay in Vancouver and thirteen nights touring the Canadian Rockies in an RV.

Canada motorhomes.com invoiced uour deposit by e-mail with a heading of Canada Tours %26amp; Cruises based in Seattle stating they no longer accepted credit card payments because of high fees so we arranged for our deposit to be paid by International Bank Transfer to their account in the Royal Bank of Canada in Vancouver.

When the final invoice arrived it had a heading of Shulz Canada Tours and it suggested we might find it more convenient to pay the ballace in 拢Sterling into their new European account in the Cantonal Bank of Berne in Switzerland. Our bank however tried to make the transfer of funds to the Royal Bank of Canada Account and came back to us a few days later to say that the account no longer existed.

We became suspicious and found several articles on Schulz Tours frauds in Alaska so we checked with the hotel we were due to stay in - The Hampton Inns %26amp; Suites in Vancouver and Tracey the reservations manager told us we had no booking and had never heard of the operator under any of the trading names. She came back to us a few days later after asking around the RV rental depots and confirmed that this was a fraud and under no circumstances send them money. She even offered to handle our booking drect and give us discount on our room rates. Without the luck of our bank attempting to send money to the wrong account and the assistance volunteered by Tracey in the Hampton Inn we would have lost the entire cost of our vacation. Be Warned!

Hi,

I had also a very bad experience with the company www.canadamotorhomes.com

We rented two motorhomes for july 28 - August 11, and sent 2* CAD$939.05 for reseration in april.

We ';forgot'; to pay the balance before the deadline date, which was written in an attached pdf document, in english only, in a mail. No alert before the due date, and only the following email

Dear Mr. Fedou

Please be advised that we have cancelled the following reservation:

Invoice #:

Date %26amp; Departure: July 28.2006 / Whitehorse

Cancellation Date: June 25.2006

As of today we did not receive the required deposit/balance due on/or

before: June 10.2006

Please refer also to our online Reservation %26amp; Payment Policy.

A cancellation notice was also mailed to the address on our file.

At this time you do not have a valid reservation with us anymore. We highly

suggest to make alternative arrangements prior to your arrival.

Regards,

Reservation Center Accounting

We proposed to pay the balance as soos as possible using credit card, but this company does not accept this kind of payment and the only response we got is the following

Since these emails, no news from them ... I fear we have lost 2* CAD$939.05. I am trying to alert the justice but it is not so easy from france. Thanks if anyone can help us to get our money back.

So that be very carefull with this company, they are dishonest !

Anyway, we finaly got another reservation with canadadream, I hope all will be fine. We plan to drive from WhiteHorse to Inuvik, visiting Kluane Park and around Dawson.

HUH?

We rented a motorhome in Alaska through Clippership. We did not have to pay in advance, nor did we have to put down a sizeable deposit.

You don%26#39;t need to hire a ';tour company';. Just go directly to the motorhome rental companies.

Should we be worried? We haved booked a camper @ www.canadamotorhomes.com... We have paid 50% as a downpayment and are about to pay the remaining 50% before we head off there in about 5 weeks.

I hope to hear something soon... ;)

Yes, you certainly do need to worry. Even the consumer protection departments say that you%26#39;ve probably lost your 50% - don%26#39;t send any more. This is a huge scam operation that just keeps changing names - I don%26#39;t understand why they aren%26#39;t in jail.

Wow, thank you for the quick and thorough reply!

After sobbing and licking our wounds for 5 minutes, we are looking for a REAL motorhome rental company! Just lucky that we did not intend to put all our savings into this holiday, it only makes it a lot more expensive!

Anyone any experience with www.canadreams.com?

CanaDream (not Canadreams, to be specific), is a top operator with a large fleet of near-new motorhomes.

We booked 2 campervans through canadamotorhomes and had quick and obliging replies we forwarded a cash transfer as a deposit and when we forwarded our balance the bank account in Vancouver had closed(fortunately for us) we then had no replies from them. I have been down every track seattle police said they had a case against them but then said they could do no more as the guy responsible was German. how can these rogues still have so many web sites?? We managed to rent 2 vans through Canadream %26amp; had a wonderful holiday in canada in July %26amp; August but we are still out of pocket for $3500Aus we need to get these criminals off all web sites as they are still fleecing people of their well earned money.

i neglected to say that we booked through canadamotorhomes.com
