Princess Kenai Lodge question

I have discovered Princess Kenai (the last stop on the land portion of our trip) is in Cooper landing...which is a very long long way from Seward. Does anyone know if they have shuttles to Seward? We would like to book our own excursions but need a way to get there.

Any thoughts? ...or are we stuck with using Princess companys?

The last I heard they had Princess Cruise charter buses that bring you back and forth. I am sure they have a 800 phone number and ask more questions.

In Alaska that drive is considered a short trip from Seward to Cooper Landing. You do not realize that in Alaska just the Kenai Peninsula is as big as the entire state of Arizona.

What time of year will you be going?

We are going the end of August. Tried the 800# and just get Princess main line and they really don%26#39;t have that kind of info. The hotel doesn%26#39;t open until May so I will have to ask then.

Am also trying to find out how to get from Denali princess to the wilderness center (is that what they call it now) near the main gate to take the 0600 park shuttle into the park. Prefer this to the Tundra Wilderness Tour Princess has scheduled.

It looks like there is a company called Stage Line that has service from Cooper Landing to Seward. There might be some others. You can find them online. They run daily in August.

You need to call them AFTER they open in May. there are shuttles to Seward, an hour each way, but they aren%26#39;t continous, and don%26#39;t start real early. You are going to have to wait until they open and can get their schedules before you book any early tours.

Your only option without your own car is walking. Less than 2 miles. Princess lodge shuttles don%26#39;t start until 7am or later. Again, I suggest you call them directly when they open in May. It looks like you might have benefited from more research on this cruisetour before booking. My main problem with cruisetours, SO MUCH is not easily known.

If you haven%26#39;t booked your shuttle bus tour into the park and don%26#39;t want to walk 2 miles, then just book a later shuttle bus. :)
